JD-U rebels to float new front

PATNA: JD (U) rebels have decided to float an apolitical front, Bihar Nav Nirman Manch, and hold its convention on August 21 to decide their future course of action.
Former JD (U) general secretary Upendra Kushwaha has been made convener of the Manch. He said they would not sever ties with JD (U) despite having been suspended from the party. "But we will not remain a mute spectator to the anarchic situation in the party as well as the state," Kushwaha, a Rajya Sabha member, told TOI on Tuesday and blamed chief minister Nitish Kumar for all the ills afflicting the party and the state.
